I just don't trust them. What makes them so special? Whenever I shop for food, I avoid the organic stuff, thinking it's gonna mess my body up.

I don't buy it either, I have lived this long eating what I want, I don't plan to change now. When you get up in age there are few pleasures left, I enjoy those that I can. I have a big beef steak and sea food when ever I want.

The food that you buy that isn't organic is sometimes refered to as "frankenfood" because it contains pesticides and/or has been genetically altered. When buying organic food, if it is not certified organic, it menas nothing. Basically, if it is uncertified, it is like going to someone that calls themselves a lawyer, but has no proof or lisence to practice. The good things about organic foods is that they do not contain pesticides or other enhancing chemicals. The generally do not last as long because they often do not contain preservatives. It is very expensive for someone to become certified organic in their buisness, and they know it is more appealing to the mass public, especially with all the allergies that arising in children. Eat what you like, but chemicals that are man made are not always good for you- remember that.
