I feel like I cannot breath and like I am in a tiny little box in my office. like I just need to get outside and stop my mind from racing and thinking about certain things. It is happening off and on all day long. Past few days. Is that what it is? Has anyone ever had one b4?

It does sound like anxiety. Does it only happen at work? I'm thinking it may be claustrophobia to some degree or another. Thoughts run through your head till you're completely focused on that little story playing in there and how uncomfortable you feel. Take control of your thoughts. Push them out with the truth about the situation. Tell yourself a different story, in other words. Eventually you will have control of the situation. Practice.

Do you feel like your hands are going numb and tingly? Or your lips are going numb? It might be anxiety. If you are under a lot of stress and worry you might be suffering that. Usually you start exhaling more air than you are inhailing (without noticing it) and that adds to the physical sympthoms of your anxiety. Try calming down, close your eyes and make your breathing more conscious. Inhale and hold it a little bit and then exhale calmly. Do that several times until you feel you can control your breathing. It helps with anxiety

Figure out what's stressing you out and making you feel this way and eliminate it from your life! Anxiety and stress is all too common today. I can't remember a time when I saw my grandmother stressed about anything! Now, we give up all control of our own lives to other things, our jobs, a relationship, etc. rather than taking control of what's real and given whatever situation, instead of dealing with it, our emotions take over...overwhelming us. Just take it easy, relax, and enjoy the rest of the day.

To answer your question, it sounds like a panic attack, although it could be anxiety too.

Yes, I have anxiety attacks too and those are a few of the symptoms. Feel lucky that those are the only symptoms that you do have!!

Talk to your doctor and see if he/she can prescribe a PRN (as needed ) medication to help with your symptoms.

Good luck sweetie!!

Sounds like a panic attack to me. I used to have them all the time - several times a day. I bought a series of CDs and DVDs from Lucinda Bassett (look up online) and it worked a miracle for me. I haven't had a panic attack in six months.

could be -- one thing that can put me over the edge sometimes is caffiene -- sometimes if makes me feel more anxious. Try to spend some time tonight writing - see if you can figure out what is making you anxious -- sometimes journaling helps me to think. Are you having trouble sleeping? You may want to see your Dr. if you are having trouble sleeping and feeling this way. Another thing you may want to do is see a counselor. I did and it helped me handle this sort of thing without meds.

most of the time when you have an anxiety attack you breath shallow which does not allow you blood to saturate with oxygen which makes your fingers and toes go numb and your lips tingle if you cannot control you breathing you will pass out and your body will reset it's self you will go back to breathing normal and wake back up.
