Set up two rails about 7 feet off the ground about 3 feet apart, straddle the unicycle and just peddle back and forth, learn how to turn, eventually you will balance and not need to be in between.

Get a unicycle and set lots of cushions around the place and just go at it(cushions will be for when you fall off) and pretty soon you wont be falling because you will have learned it if at first you don't succeed try try try again unless you are skydiving
