Unfortunately you deleted the evidence needed. If you have deep pockets, you can hire a hit man and rub him out. You may also want to search for online scam revenge services. Some of them specialize in beheading scammers in foreign countries.

Quite frankly in the end there is almost nothing you can do but try to keep yourself from being scammed by these people. I have been hit by nearly $200,000 in fraud from these blasted scammers. I want them dead myself. All of them. They killed my business, killed my bank accounts - I cannot even open a bank account anymore because of these S.O.B.s

Ah well, hopefully one day we will have laws that allow us to hunt these bastards down and kill them all.

First of all you can use which server he used to contact you; yahoo, hotmail, etc.
Pull up the e-mail if you still have then find on the e-mail page where it says show Full Headers. click on it. See where it came from...what internet aervice he used to send it to you.
Then click forward, with full headers showing, and send it their abuse mail service. You can add whatever info you like and they'll do the rest. For example, abuse@yahoo.com, abuse@terra.com, etc. You will get an auto response first telling you they recieved it. There is also one that belongs to the F.B.I .

Search for other cases against this guy. Clearly, someone has already done some complaining. Probably someone has tried to prosecute and your experience may help. I don't think you have much recourse on your own, as you have no proof he was scamming you.

If you have deleted all the evidence , you have deleted the cause for your complaint. No evidence, no complaint. sorry!
