I live in microbrew country, so my favorite microbrew would have to be either the Portland Brewing Company's BlackWatch, or the Anacortes Brewery's Bavarian Hefeweissen. I honestly don't know that I have had a domestic beer since I got out of college 4 years ago, but then it was a Canadian beer, Kokanee.

Yuengling beer brewed in Pottsville, Pa. the oldest brewery in the U.S. The brewery is also a historical site, the beer is excellent and, according to my beer rating book, has a higher rating than Coors. Enjoy.

bud is not king its full of gas,##
try leefe blond or blance. 6.5% nice beer.
here's a song to sing when you've had 20
One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small,
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all.
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall.
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall,
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call.
Call Alice
When she was just small.
When the men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low.
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know.
When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead,
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said:
"Feed your head. Feed your head. Feed your head"

If I have just finished mowing the lawn on a hot summer day, I like a Bud Light 'cause it is refreshing and not heavy. For flavor and body the absolute not-bitter, not too dark, best is Newcastle Brown Ale.

Budweiser is not a beer.
If you mean lager, then Kronenbourg 1664 is good, but there are very many premium strength lagers that are very palatable.
As for proper beer, there's so much choice from the hundreds of small brewers in the UK, I couldn't pick just one.
