Why would you think that. The problem is everyone thinks that about every religion, why do we only talk about muslim this and that?

Wouldnt catholics look down upon you for not believing in god, and so wouldnt christians? and jewish people, and buddhists, and hindu(ists?) haha........

I dont really care that you dont believe, its your choice....we all come in at our own time!

Humm, I think worldwide there are probably more Christians proselytizing than there are Muslims.

But let's be fair - atheists think the position of atheism is better than being religious, that's why atheists are atheists.

Christians think Christianity is correct, that's why they're Christians.

Muslims think...etc.

However, looking at the tradition of Islam, it does incorporate more elements of other religions (eg Judaism and Christianity) than some other religions - eg it recognises Christian prophets. So in that sense it encompasses a fair amount of diversity. Of course, Islam does have its extreme, conservative adherents - eg the Mujahideen in Afghanistan. Still, these Mujahideen did not attain their current position of strength - and weren't able to subjugate women to their current extent - until the Christian conservatives of the USA helped them out by invading Afghanistan several decades ago and giving support to the Mujahideen who later became the Taliban and the Northern Alliance, and so on. So really, religious extremists of various traditions have more in common with each other, and support each other more, than do say Christians and atheists. Of course, there are also moderate, humanist Muslims - in fact, quite a few of them - but sadly they're not so newsworthy. It's quite sad how so many divisions have been created around the world, and so much Islamophobia whipped up, because over the last 5 years it has been politically expendient for many nations to demonise Muslims.

All religions not just islam will see themselves better than you because you are losing divine blessings. All atheists will see religious people (not just muslim) as losers who have happiness with their blind faith.

I converted to Islam in February. My Sheika told us that we do not know what is in others hearts (only Allah knows). That the person you think is the worst may be the best and the best may be the worst.

Also, the state we die in is how we will be judged. A person who is bad all his life can repent (sincerely) and be judge well. A person who is good all their life can turn bad at the very end and be judged poorly.

I would not presume to judge you as compared to me. Only Allah can to that.
