When the lottery first started I ran a £300 syndicate. There were 300 sets of numbers computer generated such that there wasn't a duplicate run of 3 numbers or more.
The syndicate lasted for about 18 months before being disbanded. On average each week £60 was won.
I now buy premium bonds. The only drawback is the minimum purchase is £100, see link below.

Yes. I play cash 3 and use the same numbers for each drawing. I chose my numbers by birthdays and by my phone numbers. That way, even if I don't have my ticket with me when the drawing is done, I know what numbers I picked. Also, when I play the regular lottery, I usually pick numbers I will remember, again, in case I don't have my ticket with me. I use ages of my children, my age, my husband's age, and my lucky number.

I only play on rollovers and I have 2 regular numbers (15, date of my birthday and 21, my age - of course this changes each year) the other 4 are random. Otherwise I'd be gutted if my numbers came up when I wasn't playing. I buy scratchcards quite alot though, more chance of winning - even if it is only your pound back!

I play the odd time, but just do a quick pick (random numbers) because I can't be bothered choosing my own numbers! I do the Euromillions more than the Irish lotto

I don;t believe, there are very few lucky people who may be winning loterries, otherwise i never found a single person, who i know has ever won a big lottery, so it is just a waste of time and money.
if it is in your destiny u will get it from anywhere, so why waste in lottery.

I'm afraid I do, I use the same numbers I chose for the first ever draw and they've been absolutely useless! Still, you only have to win once.
