I have a baby too and i cut my hair when i was 6 months pregnant. After i had my baby who is 5 months old now, my hair fell our alot more and it grew thiner. That is normal. Eventually, it will grow back the way it used to be. Maybe after a couple of months. My hair is starting to grow better now.

Same thing happened to me. Make sure you are getting the ends trimmed. If dead ends split, then break off, your hair will seem to stop growing. Also, continue taking your prenatal vitamins. I take mine daily and my son is 8 months old. One more trick I have tried, get some Jello gelatin mix. Make it, and drink it. Yes, drink it, don't make it into Jello, unless you would rather eat a huge bowl of it. I drink it and I have thick, smooth, fast growing hair. (actually, my fingernails are growing thicker and faster too.)

Why do you want to grow it out...wasn't it fustrating with the hair clips and pony tails and tangles.. I hated my hair long.. You should keep a short and sassy haircut and show of the back of your neck and shoulders. Men, Love that. And you won't have to hassle with.

My hair is short and I have never saved so much money. I wash and go..a little hair gel. I don't even have a brush..i just use my fingures. It great...A great freedom release.

There are vitamins available that are for formulated just for your hair. Look for ones rich in keratin. My hair fell out in a couple of spots, and I have been taking vitamins that are simply named Hair to get mine to grow back. I've been taking them for a month now, and the hair is making a comeback!

i know your not pregnant now but you can use prenatal vitamins. they are perfectly healthy while breastfeeding too. they make your hair grow faster and thicker and your nails too. talk with your baby's dr or your dr. and ask about it. it helped me alot too.
congrats on the baby.
hope this helped
