Dogs are funner to have since they are more people oriented. You can take them for walks and they enjoy you as much as you enjoy them, cats are finicky and only want to come out and play when they want.

Both are great, but you have to consider your lifestyle in answering this question. Dogs are awesome, but more time-intensive. They are very social creatures, unlike cats, which do much better as solitary animals. Do you have time to walk, train, and socialize your dog? If not, a cat might be a better choice. If you are active and enjoy activities like running, frisbee, etc., then a dog by all means!

Dogs. I don't care what people say, dogs are just as clean as cats. Plus, my dogs relieve themselves out in the dog yard, not in a box inside the house.

Cats are independent a very important quality, however dogs give you so much more. M. Acklam said "We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made. "

I say cats, but only because there more independent, and I'm not always home. Dogs need a little more care.

well get a dog if you don't mind taking it places with you but if you want one that just stays a home alone when you go some where then I would get a cat!

Dogs, they require more care than cats, but they give so much more back!
