one more thing it is not a scam all the doctor asked was for everybody who received the e-mail to forward it. The person who started it could track it and would donate 3 cents to the cancer charity, all it took was my time nothing else.

You need to wake up - it's a scam - just another form of pyramid selling.
I can understand why you would fall for it, If you really want to help terminally ill children head in the direction of your local children's hospice and become a volunteer helper. That way you will be helping children who really are dying and not one made up by some sick, unfeeling prick of an individual that has no qualms about using the story of a dieing child to gain money from unsuspecting people.
Remember this doctors a professional people who do not send out unsolicited emails.

I am helping terminally ill children by working with the world leading supplement company. They pioneered the science of Glycobiology, which took four Nobel Prizes in the late 90's early 2000's. There are thousands of scientific papers written about this subject, and thousands of people have had their lives turned around.
Take a look at the following website and go to the testimonies page. It will blow your mind.
I have just helped a 5 year old boy with terminal cancer. He now looks as fit as a flea.

These are quite often a scam.
If you want to do something to help that sort of charity, organise an event, or just donate some money.

go to your local hospital and ask there, even things like donating old toys to the children's ward will be welcomed. I give blood regular and i am being screened for the bone marrow donation next week as i know that leukaemia is often a childhood disease (as well as adults) but i am a very rare blood group so i have been warned i could get asked to donate. I also have joined the donor register after my death, as i want to help everyone who needs it.
Whatever you do is appreciated and it always helps someone.

these are spam e mails. disregard.
However there are hundreds of children dying world wide with cancer - for no fault of theirs - i mean they did not bring about their tumors. If you are in a country where the nation pays for health care, then approach the local cancer hospitals where you may find a few patients paying from their pockets for medication - you could donate something. Just a few wordsof love in a ward with cancer patients dying could bring a smile to their lips - in other countries, please locate your area Lions International and donate liberaly through them.

Take care, do not accept any mail in quarantine, unless you know
the source, hackers have an imagination which can make you
believe in Father Christmas.
