These are things we did not deal with totally, drugs are stronger and more lethal and diseases no longer a shot and an embarrassment but may result in death.

Stronger families.

As a last resort, enlist the problem kids in the military to help them make something of themselves. It's better for them than going to prison, and also helps make our nation more secure. (Also, it's less dangerous for them than buying and selling and using drugs.)

Be a better parent, relative, friend and neighbor.

Be tough on crime. Drugs are not a viable option. Don't make it seem petty by giving people second chances. The best prevention is a strong deterrent.

Make parents more accountable for raising their children. So much welfare "benefits" to encourage irresponsible parents to have more kids is not working.

Knowledge is power. If you do not know that something could happen to you and what the consequences of these choices are, then you cannot make a good decision.

The more you know, even if they are considered to be negative things, the better off you will be.

we all need to start with ourselves and take responsibility for the people we come in contact with.. we must live our lives according to his will and others will follow.. The only solutions if for us as individual to find ourselvess and realize how great we are for ourselve and to each other... If you don't know your great then how can you be great.. This will solve more then drugs and std's but this is the root of the problem..

Educate your children. Do not rely on the school system. Tell your young adults that graphic truth. Do not sugar coat topics like Aids and STD's, alcohol and drug abuse and addiction, peer pressure and gangs. Parents are hoping the school system is teaching morals...think again!
