I think it's because people who post here are often not only spiritually hungry but attention-hungry as well, and they keep getting the two of them mixed up. Perhaps you would agree with me that we would like to give them spiritual food - but they keep thinking it is supposed to look like a crowd of people approving everything they do or say, so they keep passing over it as if it didn't exist. In other words, people often get stuck in a one-track way of thinking.

I, too, have noticed a lot of crazy, off-topic posts here in the R&S section. I think some of the offenders just do not pay any attention to what section they put their questions in, and some just post outrageous stuff as a way of mocking religion and spirituality.
It would be nice if everyone could just respect each other's spiritual beliefs, but unfortunately, that will probably never happen. It's sad, because no one really knows for sure what lies in the spiritual realm. Sure, some claim to know, but they're just self-righteous zealots who have to boost themselves up a few notches and can find no other way to do it. It is because of people's strong beliefs about spirituality that we will probably never have peaceful acceptance in this subject.
Plus, some people just bash that of which they do not understand. Instead of using their brain cells to try to figure it out, they just mock it because it uses less energy.

Some of the posters on here ask the same silly (stupid) things that make no sense over and over, it is very annoying.
Some will have over half the page taken up with useless drivel.
We should all just ignore them.
I don't hate any body!
Peace!

Most Y!A's participants are about 12 and the more dysfunctional of those seem to gravitate to the R&S section.
If we all agreed on religion, there would only be one religion, yes?

When I first started 8 months ago, it was pretty good. But it has been taken over by wackos, and most of the good people have disappeared.

Yeah what happened to religious tolerance. It's just one big argument here. I try to defend my religion when they make fun - but I can only take it for so long. It's SAD!

What does this question have to do with religion or spirituality? You've become the very thing you despise.

Most people just don't care who they offend and/or hurt! These people are neither spiritual nor religious!
