It is called "Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel". Never heard it referred to as "in praise of". "catintrep" provided the prayer correctly above. As you can see, it is not a prayer of praise, but a prayer of supplication - requesting his help.

you need not pray a certain prayer..

God wants us to communicate our hearts, not written out prayers that some else wrote
