"ok, this is way too serious 4 me, so i cant believe im writin it, but newayz, i duno if u no, so i jst wana tel ya, i really do care 4 ya, nd im jst sayin it, coz i no i dont show it r say it, but i do. coz, i duno, i guess i can seem like a dick sometimes, nd maybe its coz im introverted r maybe coz im manic depressive, but i jst realized i really dont show it. So anyway, u mean alot 2 me, nd i do really care bout ya.

damn, gota exit this realm ov seriousness b4 i implode... "

Don't mind the spelling, that's just how kids type nowadays, but do you think she will accept this? She says we are best friends, I don't treat her badly, I just don't always express my feelings, and this is the only way I could. How do you think this will go with her? And do you think she will bring it up? Or just leave it as something we know I sent?

I posted this earlier and alot of the older readers couldn't understand it, so here it is in proper english:

"Ok, this is way too serious for me, so iI can't believe I'm writing it, but anyway; I don't know if you know, so I just want to tell you; I really do care for you, and I'm just saying it, because I know I don't show it or say it, but I do. Because, i don't know, I guess i can seem like a dick sometimes, and maybe its because I'm introverted or maybe because I'm manic depressive, but I just realized i really dont show it. So anyway, you mean alot to me, and i do really care about you.

Damn, I have got to exit this realm of seriousness before I implode..."

Hummmm. I'm older and I got the first message. Listen, honey. Telling someone you are manic depressive is not a good selling point for starting a relationship. Also, you are a little vague about your real intent. Do you want to take your friendship to another level? Just say so. This email or text message can serve as an ice breaker to having that conversation face to face. You can say, "Oh, about that message I sent you..." and then be honest about what it is you feel and what you want.
Good luck.

yah,,,ah ha.....I see....well were do we go from here?
Implode, you say? Ummm? ...interesting. very interesting? You didn't state your age. or if you have been seeing her for a period of time.

Now for the truth, Assuming u r a teenager, u should loose the bit about " Manic depressive", it's not a good way to get rid of it,if y r. Using it as a reason only reenforces it. Being older, yes the last version sounds better. In truth, when u r dealing with some thing as serious as your emotions & feelings for someone else, it shows more sincerity to type it out and not use kid-type. It's a , " I know we are young but I feel mature about these feelings." The use of the word "dick" is ok. In truth, in proper English you express your self as a sensitive , caring person. It really sound sincere and thoughtful to me. All u can do is wait to hear back, but remember, in matters of the heart, don't use speed type. Trust me ,I know of what I speak, I'm old enough to be your grandfather. Good luck, relax and turn off the panic button. All the best, have a happy life.

Kind of late to worry about it being a good idea if it's already been sent.

You've taken a chance on losing a best friend if she isn't serious about you. But there's nothing wrong with expressing your feelings for her and if you can't do it face-to-face, at least it's by the written word (I'm assuming she can understand the garbled misspelled and horrid verbage that passes for English these days).

She'll accept your declaration and make her choice. Either she'll fell the same way about you or she'll cut you out of her life. Once that line has been crossed, you can't go back.

What happened? Why were u so piss_ed at your friend? Maybe you should email your friend and explain what you really mean. It would be better if you called them. It depends on the real reason. I'm not a therapist, but just trying to tell you if you really don't want to lose your friend, you should talk again. Good Luck :-)

I think it is not really a big deal. It is a always a good idea to tell the people that you care about, that you care about them. I don't think she will freak out or anything, I really think you should not stress it. If she is really a friend to you & you guys are as close as you claim, then she will just take it for what it is & life will continue on for both of you. She might actually think it is cute or funny!

Too late to be asking if it was a good idea or not - it's what you do know that is important.
Go talk to her! Texting/emails can be mis-interpreted - there is nothing to substitute for a face-to-face conversation. Just tell her how you feel.
Good Luck!

It sounds fine. You're just telling your friend that you really care about them. That's seems like a good thing to me. Unless you think your friend doesn't feel the same way.

Yes it's a good idea cause you told her how you felt. What is wrong with doing that? I surprised myself by being able to read that paragraph only once. but she should respect for putting your feeling out like that.

How sweet of you to tell her how you feel. I applaud your efforts. And if you two are truly best friends she'll appreciate more than you know. Everybody needs to know from time to time that there is someone out there who cares about them. It gives us the warm fuzzies
