My thought is that 'still water' refers to a person who is a true listener - one that puts a lot of thought into what is said. This deep thought results in a greater depth of understanding. In a nutshell - be still, listen with more than your ears and have deeper insights.

Physical beauty is only skin deep, but there are other kinds of beauty. A person's personality can be beautiful, too. Most guys are just too shallow and stupid to bother thinking of anything but a person's body.

It's like a person can be calm on the outside but inside remains alot more to that persons character!
Hope I helped!

Deep water tends to be more still than shallow water....and people who are still (quiet) on the surface often have hidden depths to their personality.

A person’s calm exterior often conceals great depths of character, just as the deepest streams can have the smoothest surfaces.
