Yes, you will get it back weekly when you're 65, and you can get free medical care when you're ill, and subsidised spectacles and dental care. What a bargain for £78.

Your NI contributions are based on your actual earnings per month, whereas the tax is based on your yearly earnings. If at the end of the year you have overpaid tax on your income, any extra can be claimed back. This is not he case for NI.

No NI contributions are deducted at source (11%) and there is no exception for overtime.

determined about what? As HMRC have suggested, it really isn't any longer your problem. shop your payslips (and your P60 once you get it sometime after the top of the tax 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) to instruct you received your wages information superhighway of tax and NI. in the experience that your corporation hasn't been paying those over, HMRC will pursue the corporation no longer you.

You will not be able to claim it back. You earned over the Lower Earnings Limit for this month.

Afraid not. Your N.I. contributions are calculated as a percentage of your total gross income. They don't make exceptions for overtime.

Wish they would though.
