A site www.flightaware.com allows you to track flights in progress with flightplans, flight track, planned altitude and speed, and actual altitude and speed. You can't see scheduled flights and flight plans for security reasons, I assume.

I share this information under the assumption that you have purely innocent intentions! Google Earth allows you to track aircraft in flight. You do need Windows XP to use it.

my current favorite is flightaware.com.
There is another one I like better but cant seem to find it right now
