You need to use the original WinXP CD or DVD on your system.

Boot from the original disc, and navigate to the part where it asks what you want to do. Select "Install Windows"

It will then search your disc for installed versions of Windows and report them to you. Select the installed version of Windows you would like to recover, and press "R" to Recover/Repair the installation.

After about an hour or two it should complete. You need to have your WinXP serial number handy to enter it in.

In the end, you may have to re-install Microsoft Office, since the repair breaks it almost 100% of the time. You may have to re-install Visual Studio as well if you use that.

homestead windows xp sixty 4 bit - assuming your processor is sixty 4 bit. despite if it quite is only 32 bit then you definately haven't any determination yet to bypass with the 32bit version. wherein case, you will desire to not be waiting to apply the full quantity of ram, as homestead windows 32bit purely helps around 3.5 to 4 Gb of ram. you may desire to apply 64bit to apply the full 8gb of ram.
