Just look at any Buddhist master and you have the answer. They are at peace with themselves and have no need or desire for material possessions while the rest of us are running around like headless chickens seeking illusory happiness in careers,materialism etc.

I think I'd have to see the original context. The phrase "such a man" seems to be referring back to an earlier part of the discussion.

I agree in part, though I believe more knowlegde can come by taking part of life as well. Being able to sit in peaceful contemplation is a beautiful thing, but one may still lack the knowledge of emotion, for that too is a part of learning.

I agree in large part. To me the quote basically says that each man can, and should, find a god within themselves instead of trying to conform to others ideas of what a god is.

with all due respect, I don't agree with the statement because I have faith in the one who created me. I know to be God.
