Praise Jesus Christ

There is no standard biblical prayer for thanksgiving before a meal.

The Lord's prayer is an outline of how Jesus says we should pray, so begin with praise to God. Next, ask that God's will be done. Then ask for God's gracious provision; ask Him to supply you. Next, ask for your sins to be forgiven, and ask for divine guidance and protection from the flesh and the powers of the evil one, and lastly, finish your prayer by glorifying God once again--a fitting end to any prayer.

Hope that helps!

It doesn't really matter what prayer you give as long as you make no mention of how awful a life the turkey had, caged and pumped full of growth hormones, or how it died simply for human tradition and habit. I usually just say, "God bless us all! Each and every one! Each and every human I mean. Oh and specifically the white Christians. God bless us all!"

You should say your own prayer not one that someone else said. Do you think God appreciates your thoughts or you repeating the thoughts of someone who's been dead for years?
