My brother-in-law was asked by a woman he works with if she had "stupid" written on her forehead. His response was "No, you don't have to, first you're a red head and second you're a woman!! Was that mean or just funny??? I vote for a little of both but over all funny!!

I find it funny that by some of the comments that it was ok for this woman to attack the brother-in-law. If anything he should report her. Women think they have it so good that they can sart something with a man and can run to HR for help and they always believe the woman. That's total bulls**t.
So did she look like she had stupid written on her forhead??
Yes. Cause only a stupid person can start some sh*t with a guy she works with and have a bunch of complete strangers think it's ok.

hmm.. i'd say it's kind of mean. only because it is in a Work Place situation, and probably they are NOT close "friends".... perhaps there is more to the story, the reason why she made that comment in the first place. perhaps she was trying to make a smart-a** remark to him, which is why he replied that way.
anyways, if it was a friend of mine, i'd probably "act" shocked and punch his arm or something as a joke, and laugh, but not because it is TRULY funny, but because he is obviously saying it to be kinda mean. it's not like he said that and innocently thought he was being polite or anything =T
lastly, no offense, i'm sure he is a nice guy and all, but i do not like people who try to "get a rise" out of someone just because they have certain beliefs. let's say she is a feminist, there is a reason why, and there is a line where u "respect" someone for how they think. if she was disrespecting him, then yeah i can see him making a smart alec remark, but if he was just trying to get a rise out of her for fun, that is really irritating and not very respecting.

That was not funny, in the workplace you can be sued for such comments. I think the comment was part funny, however, inappropriate for the workplace. Some people do not have a sense of humor and would take that as a complete insult, even though she opened her self up for it.

As both a redhead and a woman, I'd say you don't have to be a feminist to find a remark like that to be rude. She should have turned around and slapped him. Now THAT would be funny.
And I can't believe you, as a woman yourself, found his remark, which implies that all women are stupid, to be funny. Girl, are you warped in the head?

Mean and a stupid thing to say, especially at the work place. He will be lucky if she doesn't go to HR and report him and he still has a job.

A little of both. He should have said he was joking / teasing. It would be like me telling him "No, you don't have too, your a man and you think with the wrong head."

Funny, but totally inappropriate for use at work.
I would have said, "No it looks like it rubbed off."

both, but she should've just shot back some smart remark. I like to tease and don't mind being teased back, even in the work place. (and non-sexually)
