I moved here over a year ago from Chicago to attend school and I am already bored. I have traveled all around S. Fla. I hate Miami, It's just taken over by Spanish, W.P.B. is boring.

I lived in South West Florida for 6 years. I'm not sure if you are S.E. or S.W. but living near the gulf coast was a tropical Paradise. Yes, there are tourists and a mixing pot of different cultures but that was a positive learning experience for me. There were Canadians, German, Spanish, New Yorkers, Mexicans and they all seem to live in harmony. I loved Sanibel Island and Captiva. My favorite beach was in Bonita Springs. There is also legal gambling in the Indian reservations and the international water way is fairly close. You have Key West and all the Keys so close by. There are many fishing and snorkeling trips you can charter. No snow and you can wear short on Christmas Day! I loved it.

I LOVE IT IN SOUTH FLORIDA!! Hot? Maybe, but there's always a cool breeze off the water. NO SNOW!! That's what it's all about. There's so much to see and do, if you just go looking for it. There's such a unique ecology here. So many different birds and animals that you just can't find anywhere else. You've just got to start hanging out in all the right places. Expand your horizons. You're on the Internet. There's a wealth of information available to you regarding things to see and do in Florida, once you start looking.

Everybody to his own opinion. I've lived in different parts of the country. I have found good and bad everywhere. It all depends on personel preference.
Florida is not hot all the time, In January and February the jackets and sweaters come out. But, most of all, nobody is chained to the State, you're free to go. Most who don't care for the State leave quietly. There's no real need to post your dislike before leaving. Good bye and good luck.

SC... I lived in FL for 17 years its TOOO warm a minimum of in SC you get a ordinary theory of the seasons. Hurricanes suck! in FL you get all of them no matter if or not they are on the different area of the state. FL drivers are undesirable. FL anybody isn't that pleasant. you could imagine FL is all about the seashores yet inless your retired or do exactly not paintings that you somewhat can not have sufficient money to do in FL then you actually do not even see the seashores. FL is an impressive vacation position yet to stay there you do not delight in it.

Then move away! You are probably either too fat or too ugly and are still lilving with your parents. Certain places have more diversity than others. If you dont like it, move away.
