No. Not all all. I didn't date until I was 20 and I know otehr people who didn't date until their mid-20's. There is nothing at all wrong wth you. Don't compare yoruself to what otehr people are or aren't doing and don't subject yourself to what you think is the society norm. At 19, your priorities right now should be getting as much education as you possibly could before you ahve to fend for your self in the "real world". There shoudl be no rush to get into reltionships, or have a boyfriend because having one before you are emotionally ready for it or having one when you are too young, will only distract you from your goal which could have an impact on the rest of your life. As a woman, you will always have your pick of men, when you do want a man , so why worry or rush it now when there are more important things to content with, like the quality of your future life over the decisions you make today ?

I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 26. Why haven't you? I didn't date because I was overweight, had bad skin, and I just didn't feel good about myself. I lost weight, got Proactiv and started to see myself as worth dating and apparently other people did too. If you're the shy type, try a site like match.com which is where I met my boyfriend. It's less pressure and is good for us wallflowers. If you do decide to go the match route, make sure you're honest about having not had a boyfriend. Most of the men I met found it intriguing but weren't scared away by it - and if they are scared away by it, you don't want them anyway. Good luck sweetie.

Why would there be something wrong with you? It could also be that you are not around the kind of guys that can appreciate what you have to offer. Consider trying new activities where you can meet new people and learn something new. Or else just try to be more patient and trust the right guy will walk into your life when the time is right.
