Ladie have shown men that in many cases, you would rather be told what you wish to hear then you would to be told the truth. Face it. Many times you will know that a man is lying to you yet you will give into him. Yet if he simply told you the truth, you would not give in and you would dislike him. So much for being honest with you as many of you say you want. Well, we arent stupid either and we have learned from you. It is my beleif that many times a woman would rather be lied to knowingly then she would to be told the truth. That way when the guy doesnt call or come back around or they break up, the woman gets to play the victim rather then admitting to herself or anyone else that she was a willing party to the events and one who knew what the deal was. A woman may want a man as badly as she wants him, yet she doesnt want to have to admit she simply wanted him physically and made the choice to have him absent a relationship.

Disagree!!!
Wow, what girl did you wrong. I can't speak for other woman, but I can tell you that I would rather have the truth. I know where I stand with the truth. If the guy is going to call after a date then let him, If not then chalk it up to a nice night out. If I knew a guy was lying to me I would confront him about it. Guess I'm different

It depends on the situation. I'd rather be told the truth because I can see right past the lie and I'd rather just know and not have to wonder if I'm being lied to. And I'd only rather hear the truth if the person is not mean about it. If I've gained 20 pounds and you're dumping me for it, I don't want to hear that I'm getting dumped because I'm a water buffalo. I'd rather hear that the spark is gone (which is technically true).

Dude, check this
I am currently in something like that.
My ex-b/f and I broke it off after I found out he had been dating another woman for longer than he was with me.
Which was a 5-year on again off again period.
I was mortified when I found out because before this incident that prompted the break up, we were most in love.
Doing everything and everywhere.
I knew he had plenty other women in the past but I said lets just forget the past and move on.
I always asked him to be honest with me about his activities.
He didn't.
One day a woman called threatening me (and that wasn't the woman he was with since before we got involved)
I confronted him and we worked it out because i loved him and didn't want it to be damaged.
Then I found out about the next woman and man I was definitely shattered.
Then he told me in no uncertain terms that he was never going to leave her and i should accept part of him or none at all.
I made the choice to leave.
It was the best thing I could do for myself...
This part I'm really ashamed of but I'm still female and I have needs.
We occasionally rendezvous for sex because I'm single..
The emotional baggage I could really do without.
SO once he's condomizing, I go ahead and get some when I'm in the mood.
I'm single tho.
I definitely will not sleep around.

I say learn about the person first! I don't want to be lied to. I can take the truth! Maybe you should date stronger women and quit putting the blame on them, just learn who you are compatible with!

Nope, I'd rather always be told the truth even if it hurts. I didnt read all of your story either, but you seem bitter. Move on. Not all women want to be lied to.

I would rather be told the truth, some people don't lie very well, and I can see right thru them......I think that if it pisses the person off to hear the truth, then maybe they shouldn't ask!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you to a point......Hence the old cliche' ignorance is bliss!
The older I get the less tolerable I am in relationships where we can't be honest with each other...Hence, my new motto if your not helping your hurting....So get the f*ck out of my way!
But then again all of my friends tell me I think like a man...So who knows?

I think you just had a bad experience. We do want to know the truth. Thing is though that most men have no decency about it.
