Yes, but I have also found that most of the time I just get a strong or medium-strong feeling of peace that what I pray for has been acknowledged, and then actual answers come later on in the day, in the middle of the night, or through other people (the most common way, in fact). One of the best ways to get definite answers is to ask "What do I need to work on?" and then you often get more specific phrases. Lately my answers have seemed to center on health issues.

When you develope a relationship with God you have to learn how to listen. When your praying stop and take a quite moment to listen. Listen with your heart and you can usually find the answer. If you dont get an answer then it's usually not time. Or God will find another way to tell you. You have to talk to God about ways to hear him, some people get messages clearer through listening ...some find there answers from other people...etc. God knows how to get through to you so just talk to him about it. I usually get clear answers.. written out like words in my head. But that's just the personal way God talks to me, it defers for everyone.

Depends what you mean by "every day life". God's not going to sort out all the little details of your life for you, that's why he gave you a brain.
But you will get answers to serious matters where you have to totally depend upon him, however they won't always be clear.

have faith that God (Jesus Christ) can and will anser your questions; utilize prayer so God will hear and answer; and have patience cuase God doesnt work on our time, but on His time.
