The Japanese straightener is just another name for a permanent straightener..there are others too. It is very good though. If your hair is really kinky curly then yes it is worth it. If you have average curly hair and you can use a flat iron..buy a CHI iron...they are the best. Price varies anywhere from 450 to 800 depending on how long you hair is and where you go. Call around and see. Be aware though that once you start with it you have to continue in order to keep it straight. About every 3 to 4 months you will have to do the roots. Cost for that ...don't know.

Yes they use a bunch of chemicals on your hair and you have to undergo treatment for like 3 hours. It works very well if you have extremely curly or frizzy hair and keeps it well conditioned. Although it may start looking funny when your unstraightened hair up top starts growing back cos you'll have a bit curly and the rest dead straight. Its a good idea to do it if your hair is really unruly and unmanageable. The average price costs about £180-200 for hair just below your shoulders. Hope this helps.

well i know it's costly but it does work. the cost depends on where you live, where i live it's about 200-400 depending on length. however, it does work really well. the only problem is that when your curlier hair starts to grow in at the root it looks kinda funky. you can fix it with a quick blowdry though.

It is overly expensive and it is extremely bad for your hair. Worse that Normal Relaxers. Please do your research before getting this done.
