Like a new house or new department store. It is the great project to finally have another airport beside Don Mueng in busy city as Bangkok. And let not forget the economic boots plan...so far so good and I'm glad to be part of this useful project.

Form your own opinion, the news from Thailand is not so good right now. Cancelled flights, baggage delays, not many shops open, etc. I am going in November so, I am trying to stay abreast with the news about the airport too. Suvarnabhumi airport has a website see below.

I got a quote from Bangkok limosines and they are charging an extra 200 baht to travel from the airport. So, that may translate to an additional fees for taxis depending on the toll fees paid.

In my opinion the Suvarnabhumi Airport is the largest airport in Asia.I was there on yesterday, it was really huge and modern. If you want to know more about the airport you can look at these websites;
