When they snap the shot, chances are your eyes will be 1/2 closed and you will not look sober or sane. If you smile, it may take the attention off your hair sticking up or the big zit between your crossed eyes. Better try to smile and don't worry about the broccoli between your teeth. By that, you will be in the crowd with the rest of us! Ashamed and embarrassed, and hope no one ever asks to see it!

I chose not to smile for mine. By not doing so, it makes me look like a criminal. More of a mug shot than a driver's license. Smile, it looks better.

Only if you smile a lot in real life. Because when you're asked for your license (or any semblance of ID), people will want to see a picture of you that matches your current look. I know; I had my hair dyed for my picture and when I reverted back to my natural color, it was a chore trying to get officials to believe the photograph was me...

You don't have to.
But I work in the accounting office of a dealership and people's drivers license pictures are a wonderful source of entertainment for my office manager and I.

the hot digital license cameras take extra desirable photos than the old ones did because of the fact they do a stronger job with the mild stability, think of in regards to the colour of the blouse you're wearing evade white and %. one that is going alongside with your epidermis tone yet isn't overpowering - it is to declare if blue is your shade pick a medium blue blouse not a powder blue or genuine darkish blue for the final photographic stability. in the event that they don't desire you to positioned on a super smile then provide them a average smile alongside with your lips closed for ultimate effect.
