i dont understand the news today that iv just read.your government or what ever you call it,has just passed a bill to spend $448 BILLION on war...thats $8 BILLION A MONTH.the vote was 110-0 for it!!!!!!!!! and you wonder why america is seen to be walking allown on its walk of shame.all thoes who read this and like me wants to see the end of killing for what evre reason DO SOME THING TODAY SHOUT OUT NO MORE WAR.DO THIS WITH PEACE IN YOUR HEARTS.STOP THE WAR(!)KEV UK

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot we can do until the next election. Yes, we can protest and write letters all we want, but Bush already knows he can't be elected again. He has no reason to listen to any thing but his own desires, much as he has been doing since he was re-elected. My friends and I have been protesting this war since Afghanistan. We've written hundreds of letters, attended demonstrations, raised money to raise awareness....and we've seen no results for our efforts. The simple truth is that if the president and congress don't care what the people want there is nothing the people can do short of open revolt and I don't think that is the answer. At this point all we can really do is wait for the next presidential and congressional elections and hope the next round will be more willing to listen to reason.

I do agree, that's a lot of money that could be better used in my country. Why don't we all put donations together to send the suicide bombers all the TNT, plastique, detonaters they need and they can blow themselves up and all of our soldiers can come home.
