Hi there!

Files with a .ZMA extension are Zone Alarm Mail files. They are compressed mail files using WinRar and have usually been compressed because they contain a virus or trojan in them.

If by double-clicking on the file, you cannot open it, try to re-install Zone Alarm and try again.

If you still cannot uncompress them, try to install WinRar and see if you can use WinRar directly to open them.

If not, then here are the usually locations for the raw commands to try to open the files:

%ProgramFiles%\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zaplus.exe -warning %1
%ProgramFiles%\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zlclient.exe -warning %1
%ProgramFiles%\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe %1

Where "%ProgramFiles%" is the directory where you installed the programs, and "%1" is the name of the file you want to uncompress.

Good luck!

Probably that's just a regular .rar file renamed by Zone Alarm Mailsafe.

So IF you know the file is SAFE, just change the .zma extension to .rar and try to open it normally with winrar. Might work. Not sure, though.

BE CAREFUL!
