There are some nice restaurants by the river in Kingston upon Thames i.e. Carluccio's is nice if you like italian. There is a lovely Pizza Express (by the river - there are 2 in K'ston) and has a good atmosphere. Alot of the nicer restauarants appear to be by the river which is lovely. Be careful though, Kingston can be a bit "oikey".

Not quite wimbledon but if you get the tube 1 stop to morden there is a lovely little family run italian called bella donna. lovely pizza nd pasta and sumtimes does veal etc.

aah kingston has to be better than wimbledon, u have the river, with many pubs backing onto them, and alot of pubs have live music..
