Iam a bit worried since it involves lot of chemicals.

Nothing but bad effects. don't do it. Especially if you don't take care of your hair the way you're supposed to. If you are an everyday shampoo, flat iron or ponytail girl then this is definitely not for you. Also if you live in a state where it's sunny alot, do not go with this method.

Japanese hair straightening involves rearrangement of proteins in your hair (the chemicals do this). It is indeed damaging. It looks really good in the beginning, right after you get it done, but consider the significant damage involved and how the straightening is only temporary.

I'm a hairdresser and when i learned about this method i was told by the instructor that its the least harm full straining method out today. takes a lot of time and money but the results are really amazing. good luck

my moms friend got it done and she says that it stank while the chemicals were in her hair and since she had like super curly hair when it started to grow out.....uhhhh...wasnt pretty nemore...the top was curly and the rest was stick straight...

you should research more if you are actually thinking about getting it done to you. - good luck!
