So ask your grandpa where he gets that's it anti-Christian. Is it that whole "my body is a temple" stuff? How does he define abusing your body? That is what is wrong with organized religion.

OMG I can't believe someone actually said in here that you'll go to hell for having tattoos! That is the funniest thing I have ever heard!!!!!

If it is then our CHURCHES are full of sinners. Oh! that's right,
the CHURCHES are full of sinners any way. Adulters, thieves, liers, cheets, foul mouth people ect.ect. ect. I say get your ears pierced with in reason, maybe two per ear. Anything else may be over kill. You must also ask him where he gets his information from. If he claims to be a CHRISTIAN then he should be a faithful member of some congregation? If he is maybe it's one of there little rules. Like some Holiness group. My thoughts is he is just one of the stay at home types that say they follow the LORD and really have no faith based denomination.

I don't believe that pierceing your ears is anit Christian. But I do believe that all the other piercing might be a little bit to much because that right there is messing up the temple of god and you want your temple to look nice and beautiful not scary.

If it is, a lot of Catholics are going to be very surprised to hear that. Where I come from, most Catholic people of Italian ancestry have their little girls' ears pierced when they are still babies.
Of course it isn't anti-Christian. I've never even heard anyone object to it before.

If your grand pa can find chapter and verse where its condemned in the Holy Bible, then its anti-Christian, but I don't think its in there. Christ preached for peace, for kindness to the poor, for awe filled love and respect for God, but I don't think He ever even mentioned piercing your ears. Grand pa needs to get out more.

Well your grandpa is most likely thinking about how the body is the temple and how you should keep your body in the best possible condition. BUT>>>>>>

I don't think so.

Not completely! Ear piercing has a spiritual significance in the Bible.

Arcana Coelestia 8990. 'And his master shall pierce his ear with an awl' means a representative sign of obedience. This is clear from the meaning of 'ear' as obedience, dealt with in 2542, 3869, 4551, 4652-4660; and from the meaning of 'piercing it with an awl' - that is to say, onto the door or onto the doorpost - as affixing, or at this point pledging forever, since it refers to obedience; and this is why the words follow, 'he shall serve him forever', that is, be obedient to him forever. From this it is evident that his master's piercing his ear with an awl, fixing it to the door or to the doorpost, is representative of obedience.
[2] The implications of all this may become clear from matters stated previously, where it has been shown that those imbued solely with truths and not with complementary good, that is, with faith and not with charity, are not free but slaves. Those whose actions spring from good or charity are free.
