Theres a guy i like in work and i thought he likes me and i was thinking bout asking him out. But the thing is lately hes being whispering to his mate and im worried he may now have a girlfriend. As ive heard stuff that like dont worry i wont mention it and whats her name when i go out with the girls for a coffee and come back into the room they look up and stop talking when i walk.

What's the harm in asking him out for a drink? if he says I have a girlfriend you could say, I know, I meant as mates, she can come too. if he says he would love to then you can go and have some fun. At least you will stop feeling paranoid, which must be annoying you!! or you could ask one of his mates subtly if he has a girlfriend. Another way to tell if a man has a girlfriend is if he is texting all the time!! Good luck, happy hunting.

The only sure way to know is to just get to know the guy as a friend... No doubt it'll come up in conversation at some point.

one way ask , if he would mind RENTING and WATCHING a movie at HIS FLAT (since u said mate) on the WEEKEND maybe all weekend and if he says your place instead then ther u have it or if he hesitates with a direct answer then u know that he does not fancy u in the relationship way. sorry.,

Is it possible he may be referring to you when he's whispering to his mate?
Maybe if you thought he liked you he's building up courage to ask you out?
