collars are best!they are cheap and they need to be replaced few months at a time. Now my cat,Cat-Bag is a indoors cat Don't buy them much any more I use baby shampoo on her and brush her with a wire/bristle brush. And stroke like human hair till her loose hair is in the brush not on the floor. then bath her rub her with a towel some times two make sure that stuff that attacks the mighty unwanted fleas are not show their faces around Cat-Bag! now as for other bugs that seem to bug us and them excuse the pun. she eats the flies and moths and other fling creators we have no fly she has already tortured them.

I have heard that it does. I'm not sure though if you need to use the leaves on the floor or whether just a candle or oil would give off enough scent to really keep them away.
