In the 90's you used to see a lot of white men with black women - but you almost never see that anymore. And when you see a black man with a white woman it's not two college graduates but usually a half-retarded thug and an ugly fat white girl who's trying to be black. It seems that educated, professional people seldom date outside their race (the exception being white guys and Asian women) but the under-class still do.

See, I knew someone would say "but a friend of my cousin's sister is black and she's dating a white guy." I know there have to be a FEW people in the entire world that are doing it - but I am in ATLANTA - where there are many middle to upper class black people and I never see them date outside their race anymore. Just wondering why - not that there is anything wrong with it either way.

I don't know and I don't care. To each his own way. People tend to associate with people they have things in common. I see several inter-racial couples. I see several business owners and professional inter-racial couples. I also see several younger inter-racial college couples. We have several colleges here. I have never dated outside my race. I don't because I prefer to date caucasion; but it would be nobody's business but my own if I dated outside my race.

There out there... I actually see & know alot of inter-racial couples myself where I live... I guess alot depends on your geographical point of veiw on the subject... however I would have to agree It's not that common... I'd have to say that's due to peoples comfort zone ... I think its natural for people to want to be with people of the same race... it's a part of having something in common, not saying thats how I think it should be... just the way it is frankly... overall whites prefer whites... blacks prefer blacks ect. ect.

I live in Colorado.
Caucasian people are all over the place.
Most of the non-caucasian people are dating a caucasian person.
I notice this because I'm an asian guy.
2/3 of my dates have been a caucasian girl.

My neighbors are married and the man is black and the woman's white. They seem to get along nicely. They have kids and their son is my age. You need to look harder.
