What does you're dress look like.
If it is open around the neck (showing cleavage) you can wear half or all of it down.
But if it's high around the neck, or has a lot of details around the neck, wear it up, or else you're neck line will look stuffy and busy.
Try having "peddles", this is good for a full or a half up style.
The part that is up is pulled together (like a ponytail) and then the stylist shapes and clips down individual locks of hair, to look like flower peddles. The final result is it looks like you have a flower of hair on the back of you're head. If you can find some ribbons to match you're dress, the hairstylist can include those, making the flower peddles look colorful and real.
Enjoy you're homecoming!

ok.....try a french twist ....get a small curling iron and curl all the access hair on the top..... kind of like putting your hair up in a clip..... use the strpngest hair get.... i used the "dep sport" maximum strength rub some thru the little strand of hair then after make sure you leave some in the front around the faceline and curl those and let them hand around the face..... the get a hairspray and srY THE HELL OUT OF IT... I RECCOMMMEND "PUMP IT UP" it is found in the black hair section cause they use that for when they wear weave in updos and get little fake flowers and stick them around in the curls..... and get some rinestones and use hair glue also in the ethis section and put like ten of those around the hair that has been pulled back..... it turns out gorgous and no one else will have it.... i did an arrangement like that for my wedding.......... i loved it
