i broke up with my boyfriend about two days before he told me that he only had less than a year to live...i dont have feelings to him other than sympathy...how can i deal with this situation??

There is nothing for you to deal with really like you said hes your ex. You dont have any obligations to himjust because you dated him. Im sure you sympathize with him and its up to you if you want to remain friends with him . If you do then call him occasionally and ask how hes doing ect. but dont feel guilty or feel like you should stay with him just because of his health. Most likely hes lying anyways hoping it will get you back.

Give him a handful of dollar bills and pay his cover to a strip club.
Seriously; if you don't have any feelings for him, you're under no obligation to pity-date him for the rest of his life, even if that is going to be a relatively short time (and I'd like to know what he's got that's going to harvest him that quickly, given the state of modern medicine!).
If you really feel like you need to do something, then push him to find someone else. Seriously, who can lose with a pickup line like "my girlfriend left me, and two days later I found out I only have one year to live"?

i do not know what brought on the break-up. if you really enjoyed his company while you were together offer him moral support through his situation. if things got hectic or painful make a clean cut. how would you feel if he was lost in a car accident today?since you do not know whether he will actually pass or be cured in a year's time, be honest with both him and yourself about the friendship you can offer

all you need to do is, be honest and tell him you love him as much as you once you did and now that you are his friend and his going to die right, make the times you got for him as a friendly way not lover and let him know you be there in every step you have with him..
he will gladly you did it!
