Hi guys,

I have heard a shocking news from my herbal docter, that the Zoloft, an SSRI, may cause the permenent sexual disfuction.

I want to know if this is true.

What do you think?

This is not true, I work with these drugs all of the time. You could have sexual dysfunction, however, everyone's body is systemically different and you body could react differently than someone elses. Usually, if sexual dysfunction occurs, it will clear itself up in about 4 weeks.....

I know a man who has been on it for 6 years now and has no sexual problems and he is 50. It causes your libido to be a bit less active and makes orgasms harder, but I do not believe that it causes permanent damage. I am very familiar with SSRIs. Unfortunately, I and many of my friends, have needed to be on them. Of course, you need to be taking a normal dose, watch for other drug interactions, and be regularly (at least once every three months) monitored by a psychiatrist.

I dont know about permanant sexual dysfunction, but I do know that when I tried it, it immediately screwed with my sexual functions. It made me completely numb in that area. I couldnt have an orgasm. I took it for two weeks till I called my doc crying and told him that I didnt want anymore of it.

look in the product rules on information superhighway. everybody reacts in a distinctive thank you to drugs, so if its quite assisting your melancholy, you will possibly would desire to make up your individual strategies.. i can't see why it would be everlasting nevertheless, possibly mutually as taking it purely. Your conventional practitioner would desire to tell you, i would not take something like that without script and for a stable reason.
