You can try contacting IRS to get their current contact information if you have a copy of your tax prepared by them.

Below your signature line is a line for the tax preparer's signature, and his/her tax preparer identification number. Use the number when you speak with IRS.

Online "people search" companies may be of help if the person has had time to reestablish. Most of those charge a fee and you have no idea what they may have until after you paid them their fee. If the person was a CPA or EA the associations that support those folks may be of help. If it was just some guy doing taxes he may not want to be found!
