I think instead of just buying some generic piece of jewelry, you should find something that fits your relationship. If you have a lot of pictures of the two of you, make her a scrapbook. It doesn't have to be more than a few pages, and it's a really unexpected gift (especially from a guy). Or if you want to go the jewelry route, maybe get something that has both of your birthstones in it. If you guys have Things Remembered where you are, or any similar stores where you can get things engraved, picture frames with a personal message are sweet. My best suggestion is to make her something or personalize if you do buy something. My fiance made me a card for our first Valentine's Day with a picture of us and he just wrote how much he loved me, and I still have it. It was a little cheesy but I love it because he took the time to do it himself.

1- you may burn her a cd with her favorite songs and some of the love songs you both like ...
2- and with the cd you can send her a cute and lovely postal card with ur true feelings , let her know that she's the one and that she makes your life better every day ...
3- you have to call her every once and a while and tell her that you were thinking about her yesterday all night long and that you can't wait to meet her and giver her the best hug ever ...
girls are simply satisfied , just by sweet words and actions you can own her ..

When my husband went to sea he sent me a teddy bear and candy. I slept with that bear every night till he came home.
Flowers, animals, etc you can send let people know your thinking of them. Little emails just saying I miss you work. Text messages just saying :hi i was thinking of you: are great. Sending REAL letters are great. I also made him cards, just a little something special showing thought and he loved them. I also hit a local party store that sells discounted cards and sent a lot of those with little notes in them as well.

Yes, flowers are good, or you could send her a nice Bath and Body works basket. Or call one of the local spas and set up a little appointment for her to get a massage or manicure or something. I'm sure she would love it..
