Have a date tonight, and my boyfriend is teasing me because I'm such a curry light-weight. Want something a bit stronger, but not so hot I'll collapse!

Try a Balti.

A good curry restaurant should be able to make any dish on the menu any strength you want. Maybe ask for a Korma a bit spicier than usual, or personally I really like a Dhansak (made with lentils) or a Rogan Josh (tomato), they are both medium spiced but ask for them mild to medium.

Have a good evening!

Dont eat a hot curry just to please him, you wont enjoy it. Madras is the next one up in spicy terms. Masala is a very light sauce or you could go for a Chicken or Prawn Tikka style dish that is lightly cooked in spices. Enjoy!

I don't like hot currys so I either have korma or a pasanda (which doesn't have the same curry-light-weight stigma to it lol.)
Eat what you want - don't eat something hot just cos your bf is teasing you! You could always have a competition with him to see who can hold their hand on the hotplate the longest lol

Just have a vindaloo - they aren't hot at all.....honest..

Try a chicken tikka...its the one just above Korma...very nice and a little hint of hotness but not so hot that your tongue is on fire.

Chicken tikka masalla is my fave. Very tasty and not too hot. I like to enjoy food, not find it a painful experience!
