Every guy I have been with after my First Love have been totally insecure about the relationship we had and the friendship we would like to still have! I have had to quit talking to him because of my current boyfriends jealousy, and I dont fell like a good friend anymore! Heres the deal: I was 17 when he left to join the Navy, we tried the long distance thing but it never worked! So we both started dating other people, but everytime he came home on leave we would get together and eat lunch and nothing more! Now I cant see him, or talk to him when i need advice! What should I do? Is talking to him regardless a bad idea?

It is not a bad idea. In fact what you are doing by maintaining a friendship with your First Love is incredibly beautiful and the fact that you are there for each other and still catch up is amazing. If a guy you are dating becomes insecure over your friendship with your First Love then he obviously doesn't trust you and is not worth your time. Hope I helped! Take care

No talking to him is not a bad idea. The guy you are with now has to be secure with himself and your relationship. Let me also say I dated my HS sweetheart, broke up with him (we both dated other people) then got back together 10 years later and now we are married. So you never know what the future holds

yeah cause umm they are going from highschool either to a job or college aka freaky deaky sex for four years, and thats just tuff when you got a ball and chain, I mean its hard enough sleeping around and not letting girlsd know, but when you gotta another girl calling you from home, thats just a deal breaker
