Speak up before you regret it. Tell him how you feel without going on and on. If the feeling isn't mutual, hook him up with your friend. Then, move on and find a guy who likes you back.

try getting to know your other friend...you never know, he may be what your looking for but if your so sure you want your friend then just tell him the truth. If he doesnt feel the same way then show him its okay then you guys could remain friends..maybe sooner or later he'll find out he made a mistake.. ^_^

Why not ask him what he is looking for in a girl? Then, if it is you...and trust your own judgment there, you can start bringing up your own similarities to his ideal...Depending on how long you have been friends, he may be conditioned to think of you as more of a sister than as a possible date...just set him straight.
