BitSpirit is the best I've tested among several bittorent clients. It has many features and it does the job.

There are heaps to choose from
Utorrent I believe is one of the better ones
My next choice is Azureus

I use Azureus, it's just easy to get used to and looks nice. It takes up quite a bit of memory though.☼
