I don't think the type of shampoo matters. Your hair probably looks frizzy due to your split ends. First, cut off all of your split ends, and keep them cut on a monthly basis, if needed. You may also want to try an hot oil treatment immediately after.

Before that, trim your hair to get rid off your split ends. Maintain it by using baby shampoo. It's mild and it cleans without the presence of other ingredients which build up on your scalp. After you rinse, use a conditioner (Loreal is good) Note: You don't have to use shampoo everyday. Just every other day. Using it everyday will dry your scalp. Good luck.

If your trying to grow your hair out first you need to cut off the dead ends it'll grow faster this way. Where ever you get your hair cut watch what they use on your hair if you like it you should use the same products. Too pricey? I like leave in conditioners like TRESemme Restore i use it everyday and love it!!

you will need conditioner as well as shampoo. If you want hair like a girl, you gotta do the work. Shampoo just wont cut it! Try using ION conditioner daily and their deep treatment weekly.

fructis shampoo, conditioner and anti-split ends treatment. it works really well but you are also going to have to trim your hair every six weeks to get rid of all the split ends.

Only way to get rid of split ends, is by getting them trimmed off.

A moisturizing or smoothing shampoo. You should follow up with an intense conditioner or a leave in conditioner.
