Where were these siblings & everyone else for that matter when he was being tortured & beaten? If someone was approaching my sister to beat her ...they'd have to go through me. Why did NOBODY protect him, I would think it human nature to help.

They didn't believe in Him until after the resurrection.They even tried to get Him once thinking He was nuts,and take Him home.Another time his brothers ridiculed Him.So it was a learning process.James later became head of the Jerusalem church etc

I'm sure Jesus would not have wanted them to interfere and possibly meet the same fate. In that time, people understood that interfering in government was suicide.
Mary was at his cross most of the time it was up.

i understand where you're coming from and i know what you're saying but who knows unless you're actually in that position. his mother was there and don't you think that of all people she would be the one to make the most fuss? i know i would but we don't know exactly what happened. i think since Jesus knew He was going to die He probably told his mother, brothers and sisters to be brave and I'm sure that living with Him they believed Him and were given supernatural faith & strength through God.

I don't know. Personally, I always thought they didn't like him much. . . and I don't think the Bible says that they were around when that happened, so maybe that's what that was.
