You know, where they sorta make it seem like its an old video or something..it has those lines goin across is and all over it. Alota Rock and Punk bands have sites they have that effect in them too. So, i was wondering....in webdesign...how does one bring in or make that effect? Has it got somethin to do with Flash?

I´d really appreciate any information you could give me. Thank you everyone! =))

I remember seeing the making of that video.

They took the actual filmstrip, and scratched it along long lengths of the frames - with things like keys, and put cigarette holes in certain frames.

How to mimic that effect in flash I'm not sure (have it, but can't work it to save my life) I'm guessing you could create one frame with lines in, then another and motion tween several frames. Then apply as a second layer in your animation?

Sorry I'm not much help, but best of luck! :)

No it's nothing to do with flash. If u watch the making of boulevard of broken dreams video you see the director of the video getting the reel of film and he was scraping the top layer of the film so that it that effect.
