You can thin your hair out with a good cut. Tell them you would like to thin it and they will layer it in a way that decreases it's volume. I'm sure many are reading this and only wishing they had your hair! My sister once had the first inch or so from the back of the neck and up butched close to her head to thin hers but if you wear pony tails or any other up do's that doesn't look to great. Growing out longer layers will also weigh your hair down making it look not as think.

It is in the cut, the next time you go to the beauty shop almost any good operator will be able to give you a thinning trim. Pull up a small bunch with a comb at an angle and razor or scissor cut it at an angle so that the shortest hair falls first and longer lengths over it. This will thin the mass. The pros know how to do it so it won't be noticeable, just lighter and apparently thinner.

You want to thin your hair? Girls, even most celebrities pay thousands for hair extentions just to have the thick hair you are trying to get rid of! You are a lucky girl you just need to know how to take what you have and make it beautiful so YOU like it. I suggest long layers. Long layers in long thick hair look gorgeous. It will also lighten your hair up so it doesnt feel so heavy. Good luck

You can use a hair straightener. The ones that you can use on wet hair I think works the best. Just wash your hair then straighten it. Even if your hair isn't curly it works great!

They make sissors that only thin it, not cut it called thinning shears.

Tell whoevers cutting it the next time that you would like it thinned out and they should be able to physcially cut some out.

Go to the same place you get you hair cut and tell them to thin your hair and they will do it. I have to thin my hair about once every 3months, if I don't I get TERRIBLE headaches.

go to your hairdresser and ask her to thin it out. she will do it for you and your hair will be easier to care for. use hair spray to avoid the frizziness of thick hair, and relaxer until you get it thinned out.
