i am 16 and i think i like this guy that is 17 and im white but i think the only reason that if afraid to show that i like him back is because he is black. but he is the sweetest guy i have ever met and he has already told me that he likes me alot. so do you think i should keep me and him as just friends and nothing more? or should i give him a chance and let fate do it's job?

Give him a chance. The only thing that matters in a relationship between two people is how they treat each other...you have to decide if you want to make yourself happy in life, or if you are looking for the approval of the guy down the street.
If you are going to live your own life...which I recommend, then try new things, trust your heart, and make your own decisions. Never miss an oppertunity to learn and grow.
If, on the other hand, you are looking to please your neighbors...you can look forward to a rather bland existence, and a whole world of "Wish I Would Have..." when you get old and gray...Your Choice.

I personally have no problem with inter-racial relationships...we're all people, right? Then again there are a lot of idiots that seem to not see that...unfortunately, it is still a big issue in society, and be prepared to be judged. Depending on where you live, it may be more or less accepted. It is a decision that you have to make.

color is only skin deep, after that we are all made the same. no matter what the skin tone we all put on one shoe at a time. let him know how you feel and see what happens, it could end up being the best thing for both of you. if your worried about others and their reactions to the relationship just remember a ture friend would stand by you and family would stand by you if you two are truley happy.

There is nothing wrong with interracial dating. My girlfriend is hispanic and we are great together. I think you should go for it. The worst that can haoppen is that he says no and you are back were you stated from. But you won't be pondering about what could have been. Just go for it.

Interracial is ok if the Guy is white and the Ho is Black BUT the other way round is disgusting and will get you tagged as a ........ lover and then of course you will be tainted goods.
